Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 – Vacancy Details
This year, 330 vacancies for Indian Coast Guard have been released along with Indian Coast Guard Notification 2023.
The post-wise and category-wise Indian Coast Guard Vacancy 2023 distribution has been tabulated below.
- Navik General Duty (GD): 260 Posts.
- Navik Domistic Branch (DB): 30 Posts.

Eligibility Criteria – of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023
AGE LIMIT:-
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 22 years of age. Born Between 01 May 2002 to 30 April 2006 (Both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation : Category-wise age relaxation is as follows
(i) By 3 Years for OBC Candidates.
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates.
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates.
(iv) By 10 Years for PWD Candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
Navik General Duty (GD): 10+2 (12th) Passed with Maths and Physics from an Education Board Recognized By Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik Domestic Branch: Class 10th passed from an Education Board Recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik:
- Class 10th Passed From an Education Board Recognized by Council of Boards for school Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio / Power) engineering of Duration 03 or 04 Years approved by all india Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Or
- Class 10th and Class 12th Passed from an Education board recognized by Council of Boards for School education (COBSE) AND Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering of Duration 02 or 03 years Approved by All India Council of Technical education (AICTE).

Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
SELECTION PROCESS:-
Stage-1: Written Examination.
Stage-2: Physical Standard Test (PST)
Stage-3: Document Verification.
Stage-4: Medical Test.
Stage-5: Original Document Verification.
